About Slimtidea Fibre Journal
Last updated: 2026-08-08
Slimtidea Fibre Journal is about the least glamorous nutrient there is. Fibre gets one line in most supplement reviews and it deserves the whole page, because it is the part of these formulas with the strongest evidence and the smallest marketing budget.
Why fibre gets its own publication
Prebiotic fibre is the quiet workhorse of gut-focused supplements: cheap, well-studied, unexciting and effective in doses most products do not contain. Writing about it properly means putting doses in context — something a supplement page has no commercial incentive to do, because the comparison usually favours a bowl of lentils.
How we handle numbers
- Doses come from the Supplement Facts panel, in the units the panel uses.
- Food comparisons are given as approximate ranges and labelled as such, because portion size and preparation move them considerably.
- Prices are read from the official store on the day of publication. We do not print a struck-through former price unless the store itself charges it.
- We never publish an invented review, rating or customer name.
Funding and independence
We are an independent affiliate publisher, not the manufacturer or seller. Buying through our links earns us a commission at no extra cost to you. Because that is a real incentive to flatter a product, our house rule is that any section putting a dose in context has to run before the section asking for the sale — even when the context is unflattering.
Corrections
If you find a factual error on this site — a wrong dose, a stale price, a claim we cannot support — write to us and we will correct it and note the change. Accuracy is the only thing a site like this has to offer.
How to reach us
We answer editorial, privacy and press enquiries by email. We cannot help with orders, shipping or refunds — those are handled entirely by the official store, whose contact details are on your order confirmation. Full detail is on our contact page.
